Cartoon 925: Played

In urban vernacular the term ‘played’ refers to a hoax enacted for gain. This is the position Americans find themselves in because of their gullibility and cognitive denial about climate change. The government has, for political reasons, kept out of the public eye the large climate change initiatives being conducted by the Pentagon and the Intelligence community. They have been researching climate for nearly 100 years. They take the correlation of weather abnormally and strife very seriously. Another group under the radar is the macro economist that support hedge funds and large financial institutions. Weather affects profits. They take climate change seriously.

The question becomes why climate change denial by politicians in our government? The answer is that they have indoctrinated their supporters to believe it does not exist. They find themselves caught in a credibility gap. They cannot turn around and admit it is real. The most they can do is treat it as real outside the public purview.
