Cartoon 940: Déjà vu again

I believe I am witnessing déjà vu. The same as the way we marched into a war with Iraq. The President’s approval rating is down and an election coming. Trump desperately needs a war win to counter the fiascos in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan along with his domestic problems.

He will not commit troops in the new war. It will be a media event highlighting our high tech weaponry. The gamble is how will other stake holders react such as China and Russia? Certainly they have “intel” on the Administration’s plans. Any attack is going to cause the price of oil to skyrocket. How high a price at the pump can the American economy take?

This is the third time I have releases some version of this cartoon. War with Iran keeps popping up. It was promise Trump made to Saudi Arabia and Israel even before he took office.
