As you watch television series such as “X Files” and “CSI”, profiling is used to identify criminals.  But there is an even older use of profiling. People have used it throughout history to bend men and women to their will or break them.  Sex has often been the prime gambit, followed closely by ego.

In the 1980s there was a brief out cry when it was published in the media Israel used female agents for their sexual prowess. In our American society what is expected of James Bond is anathema in a woman.

The same techniques in profiling for criminals can be used to profile the sexual preferences of a male or female. As a high art, the successful match up can be over powering. It can easily be as addictive as any opiate. All reason and caution is over ruled.

How might the recent financial crisis have turned in America if Eliot Spitzer had been able to continue his original investigation into sub prime mortgages? Billions of dollars were at stake by Wall Street and the Banking Industry if the weaknesses were revealed. We now know American investment finances were a shell game.

There was mentioned in Congress recently of investigating if Eliot Spitzer had been the target of an orchestrated “hit”. The dirty little secret of our government is how widely sexual profiling and manipulation is used.  What is obvious, if you connect the dots, is how very effective it can be.
