Dracula represents a travesty. Not because he drinks blood; banks bleed people dry. His transgression is longevity. He brings the ancient that should be long dead into the present.

Most American large corporations are the ancient treading in the present. They refuse to die. They feed off mergers, acquisitions and political largess. Just like Dracula, they are an unholy travesty. They are relics of another age ripe for a cataclysm.
