If you laid out the major beneficiary of legislation and government initiatives over the last two decades, it would be undeniably the richest 1%. If you reflect on the greatest control of the nation from finances, government and media, it again is the richest 1%. If you review whose wealth has grown by far the most, it is the richest 1%. Last, but not least, which party is the anointed purveyor of largess to the richest 1%? Actually both parties covet that position. But one is their undeniable choice.

Question? Has the largess to the richest 1% benefited the general public and the nation? The answer is no. American infra structure, from the roads and bridges to public education is crumbling. Solutions to problems that do not add to their immediate wealth never get enacted. Anything not in the interest of the richest 1% is DOA.

Why if it is so clearly imbalanced do we continue exalt the richest 1%? The richest 1% are masters at providing the opiates that play on our fears. We are the zombies of their will.
