Capitalism has undeniable merits. But only when its brew is mixed with a heaping amount of lait [milk] of socialism to create a caffé latte. Capitalism left to its own devices gravitates to resources in the hands of ever fewer people to the detriment of the people at large. Whatever is given back as philanthropy is a pittance of what should be more equitably allocated.

In America we have reached the point of being a second world country. We have 90% of the wealth concentrated in the richest 1%. That wealth has allowed them control over all the mechanisms of American government. They also control the media. That is why we are bombarded with the pronouncements from the apostles of capitalism. All we see and hear is as they wish it to be. The little seeming victories against them are an illusion of their design to keep people as mushrooms, “feed them sh*t and keep them in the dark”.

We revel in the belief communism is dead. Unfortunately once things get too egregious revolution occurs and takes on an opposite extreme.
