The education system has been carefully crafted to make certain labor unions with their benefits and accomplishments are not taught. The idea of “unionism” is constantly demonized.

The fact remains that the only vehicle available to counteract the actions of management in regards to labor is a class action law suit. But even that vehicle is barred by mandatory arbitration and legalities. The funding of labor unions through dues is also under attack. Businesses are outsourcing labor jobs to non-union companies and large employers are moving where labor unions are actively blocked by government.

As with all things, it is about the money. Businesses during the last two decades enjoyed great profits. The profits were not shared with the employees and while their wages and benefits were actually reduced. Strong labor unions would have prevented this. The disparity in income in this nation can be directly attributed to the demise of unions political influence. The system of things are set to benefit the rich and powerful. Any impediment, like unions, are being dismantled.

Whenever an unaddressed grievance gets great enough in a society, there is a revolution. It will happen here.
